You have a truely superb site here. I am most favorably impressed. While I did not have time enough to get through everything you have here, I will be back for more.

I have gotten involved in Civil War re-enacting with the 1st Nebraska Regiment and am now emersing myself in any pertinent history I can find.

My unit is hosting a reenactment of Ox Hill / Chantilly over the weekend of 9/29 - 9/30 at Pawnee City Nebraska. Your site has provide us with a great wealth of information.

Thanks to all of those responsible for putting this all together.

I remain your most obedient servant, Rex A. Wright

Very enlightening site. I am John's son and Henry's great, great nephew. Let's hope we don't have any civil war's again, you'd think we'd be smart enough not to, but then again look what gangs do to each other.

May God grant these and all other souls who have fought and died for our nations past, present, and future eternal rest and peace in that great army above.
