I grew up in Fairfax and, on Memorial Day, my family and I started our day at the Ox Hill battlefield then proceed to Centreville and the Manassas battlefields.

It is a shame how the Ox Hill site has shrunken, swallowed up by the human "ant hill" developments.

I look forward to your efforts on preservation. Good luck,

B.P. Pryor

Hello,

I enjoyed your site very much. I am a member of the 1st Nebraska, a Civil War reenacting unit based out of Eastern Nebraska. During the last weekend of September, we will be hosting an event. We are basing the on the Battle of Chantilly. I will be sure to send pictures your way when I get them in! Keep up the good work!
