I spent many months in the Holiday Inn near Hwy 66 & RTE 50 during the mid nineties. I noticed the historical markers about the battle, but further investigation provided only a footnote to history. Thank you for your efforts to preserve and honor the men who fought and fell here. They were all Americans....

Excellent web site. I used to live in one of the townhouses located on the battlefield. And as a result, became very interested in the Battle of Ox Hill. Your web site is very informative. I thank you and salute the memory of those who fought in this "forgotten battle".

Took the opportunity today, after finally digesting all the info on this site, to take my 11 year old daughter to the battlefield. We had a great day, filled with powerful stories of American honor and courage--as articulated on your website. Thanks.

This is an informative site about a forgotten but significant battle. It is a great tribute to the soldiers, of both sides, who fought there.
