The Bailey
Brothers
In Memory of David Bailey

| When Major General Longstreet finally
arrived at Ox Hill he immediately deployed Anderson's Brigade to support Stonewall
Jackson. Although the brigade was never brought forward, it was briefly exposed to some of
the Union artillery. The rest of Longstreet's Corps arrived shortly afterwards and made
camp for the night. On September 2nd the Corps marched, via Dranesville, Leesburg, and
across the Potomac at White's Ford, to Frederick City, Md., arriving there on the 7th. |
