There have been many stewards of our nation's history who have stood guard over our common heritage.  As with the regimental colors that pass from hand to hand in battle... these stewards are history's color guard who pass our flag from generation to generation.

To those who tried to save the battlefield from development we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

 
 
 
Please note if it were not for the efforts of those listed below, this ten year (1976- 1986) archeological survey  of the Ox Hill (Chantilly) Battlefield, would have not been able to document the only physical record of this important battle. The Ox Hill (Chantilly) Battlefield and those brave soldiers who were buried on its field of honor... no longer exist.
